great grandparents

We got to go visit my Grandma and Grandpa Tanigami, so Gavin could meet them for the first time. Grandpa reached for Gavin right away! Gavin loves his great-grandparents, and just kept smiling at Grandma.

gavin vs. devon

While in Canada, we got to see my cousin Deanna and her oh, so sweet baby, Devon. Devon and Gavin were due on the same date (March 7) but were actually born 3 days apart; Gavin on March 12, and Devon on March 15. Everyone kept saying what a big boy Devon was ... until they saw Gavin. I hope these little boys get to see each other often as they grow up! Too cute.

my home and native land

Gavin had his first trip out of the country (we had to get him a passport - it's pretty funny). We got to go home to Canada to visit my family. Gavin did SO good. A 14 hour drive there, and he didn't cry once - but, he did cry a little towards the end of the 14 hour drive back to WA. But for a 5 month old baby, that is pretty darn good!

We had so much fun. Gavin LOVED all the attention he got from Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie TT, Uncle Carson, Uncle Sean, and all the other friends and family we got to see. Thanks for having us!

Gavin and I are in Canada visiting my family. We're having lots of fun, but are missing Daddy. Gavin loves all the attention he's getting! It's going to be so boring for him when it's just him and me again. Poor little guy. We'll just have to play hard while we're here!

It's Uncle Carson's birthday today, so Gavin helped Auntie TT blow up the balloons. (Sorry the video is so long, but I posted it for Ryan to see.)
